Outstanding Product support and Customer Service

I have used Tamrac backpacks for my kit for the last fifteen years. They’re hardy, well laid out and have been very reliable. Recently I found that my mid sized back pack’s clear plastic pockets (which are invaluable) had started to degrade and fall apart. I contacted Tamrac who got back to me immediately. They explained that with that model they had (nobly) experimented with a more environmentally friendly plastic. Unfortunately whilst being environmentally friendly it meant that over time the plastic began to break down and crack. Once they became aware of this they changed the manufacture to using a more rugged and long-lasting plastic. With no quibbles they offered to replace the backpack with the newer version. Outstanding customer care, showing that all too rare behaviour of a company that takes true pride in its products, stands behind them and really cares about its customers.

The pack is well built with lots of room. There is enough adjustment to fit almost any torso. The hip belt is comfortable. The little Velcro strap that holds the camera in place gets lost easily. That's the only downside.

Perfect size for travel and work.

I needed a grab and go bag for my 2 camera bodies and lenses, and something I could travel with. This Tamrac Slim 11 fits the bill and more. It is very comfortable on my back, it stands up without falling over when placed on the ground, plenty of space for the photo gear and my laptop. I like that I can choose to use the waist belt or not. Very happy with my purchase.
